You know, I really don't like when people submit something ugly and try to portray it as beautiful. Especially when they put way too much focus on the ugly. If you draw a balding morbidly obese person and title it "beauty in it's purest form" I just won't buy it. Even if you put in a pretty background. For me art has always been strictly visual. I mean, don't get me wrong, it can provoke deep thought. But in the long run it's all about image. If someone is blind then they won't be able to see your art. You can't force anyone to think ugly is pretty, or happy is sad, or right is wrong, no matter how hard you want them to. And I mean, this whole showing things in opposite lights is sooooo overplayed on this website. Try to find a different way to be deep guys.
